I slept way less. Probably 3 or 4 hours per night, but I did not wake up overly tired.

It is hard to gauge what their everyday experiences were because we just swooped in for a few days and ducked out. I think just the fact that we were there, energized, novel and awake kept them in the same frame of mind. I think to answer that question one would have to spend a year cycle there

The last paragraph answers a lot of the questions that I had. Thinking about the experiences of an environment void of nights is boggling.

Did you find yourself sleeping more or less? What about regular inhabitants - how different was their experience of the nights than yours?
